Tomato Beef Rice Bowl
Ingredients
- 2 Tomatoes
- 500g Beef slices
- 1 Potato
- 1/2 Onion
Instructions
- Prepare ingredients: 2 tomatoes, 1 potato, 1/2 onion, 500g beef slices.
- Score tomatoes with a cross, pour boiling water over them to peel off the skin. Cut tomatoes and potato into chunks, slice onion.
- Blanch beef in boiling water, remove blood foam, set aside.
- Pan-fry potato until golden on both sides, set aside.
- Mix 2 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 tbsp dark soy sauce, 1 tbsp oyster sauce, 1 tbsp sugar.
- Mix 1 tbsp tomato paste, 1 tbsp cornstarch, half bowl of water.
- Saute onion until fragrant, add tomatoes and cook until soft, add fried potato, pour in sauce and stir-fry.
- Add blanched beef, let it simmer. Add rice and let it absorb the rich sauce!
