Tomato Beef Rice Bowl

Ingredients

  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 500g Beef slices
  • 1 Potato
  • 1/2 Onion

Instructions

  1. Prepare ingredients: 2 tomatoes, 1 potato, 1/2 onion, 500g beef slices.
  2. Score tomatoes with a cross, pour boiling water over them to peel off the skin. Cut tomatoes and potato into chunks, slice onion.
  3. Blanch beef in boiling water, remove blood foam, set aside.
  4. Pan-fry potato until golden on both sides, set aside.
  5. Mix 2 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 tbsp dark soy sauce, 1 tbsp oyster sauce, 1 tbsp sugar.
  6. Mix 1 tbsp tomato paste, 1 tbsp cornstarch, half bowl of water.
  7. Saute onion until fragrant, add tomatoes and cook until soft, add fried potato, pour in sauce and stir-fry.
  8. Add blanched beef, let it simmer. Add rice and let it absorb the rich sauce!
