A delicious German Organic Quick High-Protein Bread recipe.


Add the flour. I used organic whole grain spelt flour — it’s very healthy with a low glycemic index.


Mix all ingredients together and gently press into a dough. Do not overwork or knead back and forth.


Prepare assorted seeds. I used organic flaxseeds and organic pumpkin seeds — both are excellent sources of protein and healthy fats.

Scatter the seeds on the work surface, then press the dough onto them, coating both sides with seeds.




Done! Crispy on the outside, just like what you’d find in a German bakery — and very nutritious.

Slice open while warm — perfect for making sandwiches. These cost at least €5 at a bakery, but making them at home is simple and healthy.
