A delicious Beef Guokui (Crispy Stuffed Flatbread) recipe.

In a bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, and scallions. Season with salt and soy sauce, then drizzle a little cooking oil over the top to lock in moisture.


Take a slightly thawed scallion pancake (shouzhua bing) and cut it into 4 equal pieces. Place a portion of the beef filling on each piece.



Place on a cutting board and press flat into a thin guokui. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and press them in firmly with your hands.




No kneading required! Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside — a great breakfast option.
