A delicious Stir-fried Beef with Shredded Daikon | Shiitake Shanghai Bok Choy | Steamed Rice recipe.

Prepare all ingredients: julienne the daikon radish into thin strips, slice the beef thinly, halve the shiitake mushrooms, and cut the Shanghai bok choy into pieces.

Heat oil in a wok and stir-fry the shiitake mushrooms with garlic and red chili until fragrant and lightly browned. Set aside, then stir-fry the Shanghai bok choy until just wilted. Combine and set the vegetable dish aside.

In the same wok, add more oil and stir-fry the sliced beef over high heat until just browned but still slightly pink inside. Remove and set aside.

Add the shredded daikon radish to the wok with a bit of red chili. Stir-fry over medium-high heat until the radish begins to soften.

Season the radish with soy sauce and oyster sauce. Continue cooking until the radish turns golden and translucent, releasing its natural sweetness.

Return the beef to the wok and toss everything together until well combined and heated through. Serve alongside the shiitake Shanghai bok choy and steamed white rice.
