Common Questions

Can I use dried fennel instead of fresh?

Fresh fennel is strongly recommended for dumplings — its aromatic sweetness is essential. Dried fennel has a different flavor profile and won’t provide the same results.

How do I prevent dumplings from sticking?

Place them on a floured surface or baking sheet, and don’t let them touch each other. If freezing, flash-freeze on a tray first, then transfer to bags.
