A delicious Steamed Beef with Vegetables recipe.
Soak the beef to draw out any blood, then cut into desired pieces. Add soy sauce, cornstarch, scallion, and ginger — toss well. Finish with a tablespoon of cooking oil to seal in moisture. Marinate for 30 minutes.
Dice your choice of vegetables (broccoli, carrot, potato, etc.). Blanch them briefly and spread across the bottom of a steaming plate. Drizzle with a little soy sauce mixed with cornstarch water.
Bring water in the steamer to a boil, then place the plate in and steam for 30 minutes.
