A delicious Steamed Threadfin recipe.

Clean the fish and make 2 diagonal cuts on each side. Lightly salt and marinate for 10 minutes. Line the steaming plate with scallion segments, place the fish on top, and lay ginger slices over the fish.

Once water is boiling, steam the fish over high heat for 8 minutes. Remove from the steamer, discard the steaming liquid and old ginger/scallions. Top with fresh scallion shreds, drizzle with steamed fish soy sauce, and pour smoking-hot oil over the scallions to release their aroma.
