A delicious Low-Fat Blanched Squid Tubes recipe.
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Meanwhile, cut the squid tubes open, score a crosshatch pattern, then cut into long strips. Add julienned ginger to the boiling water first; after about 1 minute, once fragrant, add the squid. After 2 minutes, turn off the heat and remove the squid. Plate it, drizzle with 1 tablespoon light soy sauce and 1 tablespoon cooking wine, scatter scallions on top, and finish with a splash of hot oil.
