A delicious 8-Minute Steamed Fish Fillets recipe.

Rinse the grass carp thoroughly. Add ginger slices, fermented black beans, garlic, scallion segments, bird’s eye chilies, and steamed fish soy sauce. Rub evenly all over and marinate for 10 minutes.

Bring water to a boil in a steamer. Place the fish in and steam for 8 minutes. Once done, wait 1 minute before opening the lid.

Garnish with chopped scallions and pour hot oil over the top. Your incredibly delicious steamed fish is ready — tender, juicy, and perfect with rice!
