I’ve been eating pork meat pies for a while, so I thought I’d try beef this time. With the nicely sautéed onions, the meat pies are absolutely delicious. My son said they were really tasty. A delicious Beef Patties recipe.

    Wash 500g beef and grind into minced meat.

    Mince the onion and garlic.

    Heat a wok with some oil, add the minced garlic and onion, stir-fry until fragrant, then set aside to cool.

    Place the ground beef, sautéed onion-garlic mixture, and all other seasonings into a mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly.

    Beat the mixture until it becomes sticky — the meat paste should turn lighter in color and cling to the spatula without falling off.

    Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour to let the flavors develop.

    Divide into about 70g portions, shape into balls and flatten slightly. Freeze briefly for easier handling.
