It’s packed with nutrients – giving your little one regular beef skewers is a great way to keep them healthy and happy! A delicious Carrot, Yam & Beef Congee recipe.
| Ingredient | Amount |
|---|---|
| beef | 3 small slices |
| carrot | 3 slices |
| yam | 1 small piece |
| camellia oil | 2 droppers |

Cut the beef into strips, then cut across the grain into small pieces — do not mince. Dice the carrot as small as possible.

Scrape the yam this way — it keeps your hands from getting itchy and makes it easy to mash.

Add two droppers of camellia oil to a pan. When slightly warm, add the carrot and stir-fry for 15 seconds. Remove and combine with the yam, beef, and rinsed rice in a rice cooker, using a 1:8 rice-to-water ratio.

Transfer everything into a baby food pressure cooker and stir to combine.

For an 11-month-old with 8 teeth, I cooked it for 20 minutes.
