Fermented Tofu (Furu)
Ingredients
- tofu
- chili powder
- baijiu (white liquor)
- chili flakes
- thirteen-spice powder
- salt
Instructions
- Cut tofu into small cubes and let them ferment until white mold forms on the surface.
- Prepare the seasoning mixture with chili powder, chili flakes, thirteen-spice, and salt.
- Dip each fermented tofu cube in baijiu first, then coat with the seasoning mixture.
- Place the coated tofu cubes into a clean jar.
- Seal and let it continue to mature for several days.
- The fermented tofu is ready to enjoy!
- Store in the refrigerator for longer keeping.
