Sweet and Sour Pan-Fried Eggs
Ingredients
- eggs
- garlic cloves
- dried shallots
- white sesame seeds
- chopped scallions
- light soy sauce
- dark soy sauce
- aged vinegar
- sugar
- ketchup
Instructions
- Prepare garlic cloves and dried shallots.
- Sauce: mix light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, aged vinegar, sugar, and ketchup until well combined.
- Heat oil in a pan, add garlic cloves and dried shallots. Fry until fragrant, then remove them.
- In the remaining oil over low heat, crack in several eggs.
- Pan-fry over medium-low heat until the bottoms are crispy and golden.
- Pour in the sauce and let it bubble for about 10 seconds.
- Sprinkle with white sesame seeds and chopped scallions, then serve!
- Sweet, sour, and delicious — amazing with rice!
