A delicious Black Pepper Mushroom Chicken recipe.
Debone the chicken leg and cut into pieces. Remove the skin if you prefer. Cut the mushrooms into small pieces and peel the garlic into individual cloves.
Heat the pan with oil and stir-fry the garlic cloves and mushrooms until the garlic turns golden brown. Remove and set aside.
Heat the pan with oil again, add the chicken pieces. Once the color changes, resist the urge to stir — let one side sear until lightly golden, then flip to sear the other side. Once both sides are done, return the garlic and mushrooms to the pan. Add soy sauce, black pepper sauce, black peppercorns, 3 tsp sugar, ½ tsp salt, 1 tsp chicken bouillon powder, and a splash of oyster sauce. Toss everything together and serve. Garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
