Wash and pat dry the chicken breast. Sprinkle with black pepper sea salt and parsley garlic powder, give it a good massage, then refrigerate overnight to marinate for deeper flavor.


Preheat the oven. Bake at 120°C (250°F) for 60 minutes. Let it rest in the turned-off oven for another hour before opening. No tin foil at home, so I used a plate to cover it — works great and only one plate to wash. Many people wrap in foil only to have juices leak out anyway, requiring scrubbing the baking pan too.

Refrigerate overnight for cleaner slicing. If in a hurry, 1-2 hours in the fridge works too.


Time to make breakfast. Toast whole wheat bread in a pan until golden brown on both sides.
