Mint and Herb Squid
Ingredients
- to taste fresh mint leaves
- to taste squid
- to taste scallions
- to taste canned dace with salted black beans
- to taste garlic
- to taste light soy sauce
- a pinch sugar
Instructions
- Finely chop the mint leaves, scallions, garlic, and canned dace with black beans. Add light soy sauce and sugar, then mix well to make the sauce.
- Bring a pot of water to a boil. Drop in the cleaned squid and blanch briefly, then remove immediately.
- Heat a pan with oil over high heat. Add the squid and sear both sides.
- Spread the prepared sauce over the squid and continue cooking.
- Cook until the sauce coats the squid evenly and slightly reduces. Done!
