Minimalist Oven-Baked Salmon
Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets
- as needed black pepper
- as needed salt
- a drizzle olive oil
- 1 lime
Instructions
- Take two large salmon fillets. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper, drizzle a little olive oil, and rub evenly. Squeeze juice from one lime over the top. If you have scallions on hand, sprinkle some — optional.
- No need to preheat the oven. Bake at 180°C for 25 minutes (adjust time and temperature for your oven — the goal is cooked but not dry). Remove the fish and plate it. Leave the skin on the baking paper, carefully flip it to a less oily spot, and bake at 200°C for 5 minutes until crispy. Use as garnish or enjoy as a crispy snack.
