A delicious Pan-Seared Mackerel with Lemon recipe.

Pat the Norwegian mackerel fillets dry. Generously season both sides with freshly ground sea salt and black pepper. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fillets and let marinate for at least 10 minutes.

Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, place the fillets skin-side down and sear for about 3 minutes. Lightly brush the top side with oil, then flip and sear for another 3 minutes until golden and cooked through. Transfer to a plate, squeeze a little more lemon juice on top, and garnish with cucumber slices, corn kernels, and cherry tomatoes for presentation.
