A delicious Cold Tossed Beef Salad recipe.
Peel the ginger, smash it with a knife to release its juices, then add water to make ginger water.
Season the beef with salt, oyster sauce, and ginger water. Mix until sticky. Add cornstarch, then drizzle with cooking oil.
Prepare the dressing: combine minced garlic, chili powder, and white sesame seeds in a bowl. Pour 180°C hot oil over the mixture. Add sugar, MSG, Sichuan peppercorn powder, light soy sauce, aged vinegar, and sesame oil. Stir well.
Bring a pot of water to a boil, then reduce to low heat. Scatter the beef slices into the water one by one. When the water returns to a boil, remove the beef.
Combine the beef, cucumber, cilantro, bird’s eye chilies, and dressing. Toss everything together thoroughly.
