  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • a few drops dark soy sauce
  • half tbsp sugar

Instructions

  1. First, prepare the sauce: in a bowl, combine light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, 1 tbsp cornstarch, and half bowl of water. Mix well and set aside.
  2. Cut tofu into thick slices. Coat with cornstarch, then dip in beaten egg. Pan-fry until both sides are golden.
  3. Pour in the prepared sauce and simmer over low heat until the sauce thickens. Flip gently! Your crispy tofu is done.
