Stir-fried Yellow Beef with Cilantro and Chilies
Ingredients
- 200 beef
- 3 cilantro
- to taste garlic
- to taste ginger
- to taste bird's eye chilies
- to taste pickled chilies
- 1 light soy sauce
- 1 dark soy sauce
- ½ oyster sauce
- 1 white pepper powder
Instructions
- Slice the beef across the grain into thin pieces.
- Add 1 tbsp light soy sauce.
- Add 1 tbsp dark soy sauce.
- Add ½ tbsp oyster sauce.
- Add 1 tsp white pepper powder.
- Drizzle a little oil to seal in moisture and marinate for 20 minutes.
- Prepare the aromatics and side ingredients.
- Heat wok until smoking, add oil, then toss in garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- Add bird's eye chilies and pickled chilies, stir-fry until aromatic.
- Add the marinated beef.
- Stir-fry until the beef just changes color.
- Immediately add cilantro stems, toss a few times, then turn off the heat.
- Add cilantro leaves and toss until evenly mixed. Serve immediately.
