A delicious Braised Ribbonfish recipe.
Coat the marinated ribbonfish in dry cornstarch and deep-fry until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Leave a thin layer of oil in the pan, add scallions, ginger, and garlic, then stir-fry the doubanjiang until fragrant. Add the fried ribbonfish, toss evenly, reduce the sauce, and serve.
