A delicious Homestyle Stir-fried Beef with Green Peppers recipe.

Prep: Slice the beef, green peppers, garlic, scallions, and ginger. Marinate the beef: add 1 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 tbsp cooking wine, and 1 tbsp cornstarch, mix well. Then add 1 tbsp cooking oil to seal in moisture. Marinate for 15 minutes.

Heat wok over high heat with oil until hot. Add the marinated beef and quickly spread it out. When about 80% of the beef has changed color, remove and set aside.

Heat oil in the wok, add scallions, ginger, garlic, and green peppers. Add 1 tbsp salt and stir-fry for about 1 minute. Return the beef to the wok, add 1 tbsp light soy sauce and 0.5 tbsp chicken bouillon powder. Toss everything together and it is ready to serve.

Tip: When stir-frying beef, you must work fast over high heat. If the flame is not strong enough or the oil is not hot enough, the beef will release water, lack flavor, and become tough. Practice this dish and impress your family at the next gathering!
