[Make the spread] Mash the ripe avocado, sprinkle with a pinch of salt and black pepper to taste, and mix well.

[Toast the bread] Bake in the oven at 110°C top and bottom heat. Today I toasted for 10 minutes and it got a bit charred — 8 minutes might be better. I like Sam’s Club whole wheat toast; it comes in packs of three slices, individually wrapped and very convenient.
