Mochi Cream Cheese Squares
Ingredients
- 250 cream cheese
- 20 granulated sugar (for filling)
- 20 crushed Oreos
- 160 glutinous rice flour
- 20 cornstarch
- 20 granulated sugar (for dough)
- 3 spirulina powder (blue)
- 30 corn oil
- 210 milk
- butter
Instructions
- Mix 250g cream cheese with 20g granulated sugar until smooth. Add 20g crushed Oreos and stir to combine. Pipe the mixture onto plastic wrap, shaping it into a rectangular log. Freeze until firm and set.
- Combine 160g glutinous rice flour, 20g cornstarch, 20g granulated sugar, 3g spirulina powder, 30g corn oil, and 210g milk. Stir until smooth, then strain into a pot. Cook over low heat, stirring, until it forms a dough. Stretch and knead until smooth and elastic. Dust with cooked flour and roll out into a rectangle. Place the frozen cheese filling in the center, wrap the dough around it, shape neatly, and slice into pieces.
