A delicious Stir-fried Beef with Dried Tofu Sticks recipe.

Tender beef marination tip: 1) Slice the beef against the grain (cutting through the muscle fibers). 2) Season with 1 tbsp light soy sauce, ½ tbsp oyster sauce, ½ tbsp white pepper, a pinch of salt and sugar, 1 tbsp ginger water, and 1 tbsp cornstarch — mix thoroughly by hand for better flavor absorption. 3) Add 1 tbsp cooking oil (to lock in moisture), mix well, and set aside to marinate.

Heat oil in a wok over high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry quickly until just changed color. Remove and set aside.

Leave the residual oil in the wok. Add scallions, ginger, garlic, and bird’s eye chili — stir-fry until fragrant.

🌸 Taste the tofu sticks for desired texture. Once satisfied, pour in the cornstarch slurry. Add the beef and cilantro back to the wok at the same time, stir-fry quickly 2–3 times, and serve immediately (key tip for tender beef). 🌸
