Kid-Friendly Carrot and Beef Stir-Fry
Ingredients
- 15 beef
- 1 carrot
- minced garlic
- scallion
Instructions
- Marinate the beef: mix with light soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and a splash of oil. Let sit for 15 minutes.
- Heat a wok until smoking hot, add oil, and wait until the oil just starts to smoke. Toss in the beef and stir-fry until it changes color. Remove and set aside.
- Heat a fresh wok with oil, add the minced garlic and scallion whites, then add the carrot slices. Stir-fry until the carrots are just tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the wok, season with salt, and toss a few times. Add a splash of water and let it simmer briefly. Garnish with scallion greens and serve.
