Beef and Cheese Wrap
Ingredients
- 200-400g thinly sliced beef (hot pot style)
- 1 onion
- as needed bell pepper
- as needed mozzarella cheese
- 1 piece butter
- 2 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- to taste black pepper
Instructions
- Use fresh thinly sliced beef (hot pot style). No need to rinse — quality beef doesn’t produce scum.
- Prep the onion and bell pepper. Add some button mushrooms if you like.
- Get the butter and cheese ready.
- Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the sliced beef and stir-fry until it changes color.
- Add the onion and stir-fry, then season with 2 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 tbsp oyster sauce, and black pepper to taste. I didn’t add extra salt — it’s flavorful enough.
- Add the bell pepper and stir-fry until slightly softened.
- I used spring pancake wraps — they’re soft and great after microwaving. If you prefer a crispy texture, use scallion pancake wraps and heat in an air fryer or oven.
- The best part of making it yourself is loading up the filling — every bite is satisfying.
- Tried one and it’s delicious! Freeze the rest and reheat in the microwave or air fryer while getting ready in the morning. So good!
