A delicious Sweet and Sour Eggs in Tomato Sauce recipe.

Add 30g Heinz tomato ketchup to a bowl. It’s made from non-GMO tomatoes with no preservatives or artificial colors, rich in natural lycopene, with a bright red color and rich tomato flavor.

Add 2 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 tbsp oyster sauce, 2 tbsp vinegar, 2 tbsp white sugar, 1 tbsp cornstarch, and ½ bowl of water. Stir until well combined.

Heat oil in a pan, crack in the eggs, and fry until one side is set, then flip and fry the other side until both sides are golden brown. Transfer to a plate. (I used an egg ring mold for round, prettier fried eggs — you can also fry directly in a flat pan.)

Pour the prepared sweet and sour tomato sauce into the pan and bring to a boil. Add the fried eggs and coat each one evenly with the sauce. Simmer until the sauce thickens, then turn off the heat. (Don’t reduce the sauce too dry — leaving some sauce makes it tastier.)

Transfer to a plate, sprinkle with white sesame seeds and scallions, and serve! The tomato ketchup gives the eggs a glossy red sauce with rich tomato flavor. Each egg soaked in the sweet and sour sauce is absolutely delicious.
