Five-Minute Tender Tofu
Ingredients
- 1 tofu
- optional chopped scallions
- a little minced garlic
- peanut oil
- sesame oil
- light soy sauce
- dark soy sauce
- oyster sauce
- cornstarch
- salt
Instructions
- Mix the sauce: 2 spoons light soy sauce, 1 spoon each of oyster sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil, 1/3 spoon each of dark soy sauce and salt, and half a bowl of water. Stir well and set aside.
- Cut the tofu into small cubes and blanch for 30 seconds.
- Rinse with cold water, then drain slightly.
- Heat oil over medium-high heat and add the minced garlic. Stir-fry until fragrant.
- Turn to low heat, add the tofu cubes, and pan-fry until slightly golden, about 2 minutes.
- Pour in the prepared sauce and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Sprinkle with chopped scallions and it's ready to eat!
- Served and enjoyed.
