Minced Pork Stir-Fried with Tofu Puffs
Ingredients
- minced pork
- tofu puffs
- garlic
- bird eye chili
- scallion
- doubanjiang
- cornstarch
- chili powder
Instructions
- Cut tofu puffs in half. Marinate minced pork with salt, soy sauce, sugar, cooking wine, and pepper. Mix well and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan, add minced pork and fry until the fat renders. Add minced garlic and bird eye chili, sauté until fragrant.
- Add 2 tbsp light soy sauce, ½ tbsp dark soy sauce, 1 tbsp oyster sauce, ½ tbsp doubanjiang, a pinch of sugar and salt. Stir-fry until fragrant, then pour in 1 bowl of boiling water. Add tofu puffs and cook until soft. Add a little cornstarch slurry and 1 tbsp chili powder. Cook on high heat until the sauce thickens. Add scallions before serving.
