Braised Beef with Potatoes
Ingredients
- 200g (cut into cubes and marinate) Beef
- 1 (cut into cubes) Potato
- half (cut into cubes) Carrot
- 适量 (blanched beforehand) Broccoli
- 适量 Green onion
- For marinade: 1 tbsp light soy sauce, 0.5 tbsp dark soy sauce, black pepper, 1 tbsp starch, then 1 tbsp oil, marinate 10 min
- For sauce: 1 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 tbsp oyster sauce, 1 tbsp starch, some water
Instructions
- Mix the sauce ingredients: 1 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 tbsp oyster sauce, 1 tbsp starch, and some water. Set aside.
- Cut beef into cubes (or slices if preferred). Add 1 tbsp light soy sauce, 0.5 tbsp dark soy sauce, 1 tbsp starch, mix well. Then add 1 tbsp oil and marinate for 10 minutes.
- Cut carrots and potatoes into cubes. Heat pan with oil, sauté carrots and potatoes until slightly browned. Set aside.
- Heat pan with oil again, sauté green onion until fragrant. Add beef and stir-fry until color changes.
- Add the carrot and potato cubes back to the pan. Pour in the prepared sauce and stir-fry until sauce thickens.
- Add blanched broccoli and stir evenly. Ready to serve!
