Rinse spare ribs clean, pat dry. Add minced scallion and ginger.

Add 1 tbsp light soy sauce.

Add 1 tbsp yellow bean paste.

Add salt and black pepper to taste.

Add 1 tbsp sweet potato starch. Mix well to coat all ribs evenly.

Steam in a steamer for 25-30 minutes until fully cooked through.

Remove and serve hot. Garnish with extra scallions if desired.
