|---|---|---|---|
| Garlic sprouts | 500g | ||
| Minced meat | 200g | ||
| Small spicy peppers | 3-4 pieces | ||
| Scallion | 2 pieces | ||
| Garlic cloves | a few |

Cut washed garlic sprouts into small pieces. Grind meat in a meat grinder (not too fine, keep some texture). Sauce: 2 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 tbsp dark soy sauce, 1 tbsp oyster sauce.

Add a little salt, sugar, 1 tbsp cornstarch, mix with some water and set aside.

Sauté scallion, ginger, and garlic until fragrant.

Add minced meat, stir-fry until color changes. Keep frying a bit longer to bring out the caramelized flavor.

Pour in the prepared sauce.

Cook until thickened, then set aside.

In another pan, stir-fry garlic sprouts for 1-2 minutes (longer if you prefer softer texture).

Add spicy peppers for extra flavor and heat (optional if you don’t like spicy).

Finally stir until thickened and ready to serve.

Every time I make this dish, my kids eat 2 bowls of rice! It’s a rice-killer – remember to cook extra rice! (You can skip the peppers for kids who can’t handle spice.)
