Home-Style Braised Fish with Ginger, Scallions and Tofu

- scallions
- ginger
- steamed fish soy sauce
- sugar
- chili pepper
Instructions
- Clean the fish and cut into pieces. Pan-fry until lightly golden on both sides. Add ginger slices, scallion whites, and chili pepper, then pour in cooking wine and steamed fish soy sauce. Add water and sugar, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and braise until the sauce thickens and coats the fish. Garnish with scallion greens before serving.
