A delicious Steamed Beef with Cordyceps Flowers recipe.

Soak cordyceps flowers in warm water for 10 minutes, then rinse clean and squeeze out excess water. Set aside.
Slice the beef thinly. Add julienned ginger, salt, white pepper, light soy sauce, and cornstarch — mix well by hand. Drizzle in a little oil to seal in moisture and marinate for 10 minutes.
Bring water to a boil, place the plate in the steamer, and steam over high heat for 8 minutes. Turn off the heat and let it rest for 2 minutes with the lid on.
Garnish with chopped scallions and serve. No need to drizzle hot oil — it’s light and flavorful as is.
