Minced Pork with Green Beans
Ingredients
- as needed green beans
- as needed minced pork
- 1 tbsp cooking wine
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp starch
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- a little dark soy sauce
- as needed scallion
- as needed garlic
- as needed bird's eye chili
- as needed vegetable oil
Instructions
- Marinate minced pork with 1 tbsp cooking wine, 1 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp starch, and 1 tbsp light soy sauce. Mix well and marinate for 10 minutes.
- Cut green beans into small dice.
- Mince scallion, garlic, and bird's eye chili.
- Add vegetable oil to the wok. Add minced pork over low heat and stir-fry. Add a little dark soy sauce for color.
- Remove the pork and set aside.
- Add a little vegetable oil to the wok. Add scallion, garlic, and bird's eye chili. Stir-fry until fragrant.
- Add green beans and stir-fry. While stir-frying, add small amounts of water gradually — just a little at a time, multiple times. This helps the beans cook faster and keeps them bright green.
- Continue stir-frying the beans, adding water gradually until they are fully cooked.
- Before serving, you can add a little chicken bouillon (optional — I skipped it to keep it natural).
