Century Egg and Cucumber Salad
Ingredients
- 1 Cucumber
- 3 Bird's Eye Chili
- 4 cloves Minced Garlic
- 2 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
- 2g Sugar
Instructions
- Ingredients: Cucumber, century eggs, minced garlic, chili powder, white sesame seeds, green pepper, bird's eye chili, cilantro
- In a bowl, add minced garlic, chili powder, white sesame seeds, green pepper, and bird's eye chili. Pour hot oil over to bloom the aromatics. Then add 2 tbsp light soy sauce, 2 tbsp aged vinegar, 1 tbsp oyster sauce, a pinch of salt and sugar, and mix well.
- Cut the cucumber into segments and slice the century eggs. Arrange on a plate, drizzle with the sauce, and enjoy the simplest home-cooked dish that comforts the soul.
