Halve the romaine lettuce lengthwise, cut into sections, trim, and wash thoroughly.

Heat the wok over high heat, add cold oil, then toss in the minced garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.


Season with salt to taste, add a light slurry of cornstarch water, stir-fry briefly, and plate. Your garlic romaine lettuce is ready!
