Cooking Steps

  1. Step 1

    Cut carrots into irregular chunks and corn into small pieces. Peel and cut Chinese yam into sections.

  2. Step 2

    Add pork ribs to cold water with scallion, ginger, and cooking wine. Bring to a boil, blanch for 3 minutes, then drain and set aside.

  3. Step 3

    Add a small amount of oil to the pot and saute scallion and ginger over medium heat. Add pork ribs and stir briefly. Add water (enough to cover ingredients), carrots, corn, and Chinese yam. Simmer for 40 minutes, add a pinch of salt, and continue simmering for 2 more minutes. Serve hot!
